The Flower Balaclava

I’m sure by now you all are over seeing flower crowns flooding your Instagrams as summer gets into full swing. I know I am! That’s why I am so happy to present the newest trend to hit the runway: the Flower Balaclava.

This stunning look is a total play on floral wreaths, but it takes it to the next level by covering the wearer’s entire face- much like the well known fashion balaclava trend.

The best part is it’s not only gorgeous, but practical as well. The arrangement of the flowers actually acts as a natural sunscreen by blocking UVA and UVB rays from hitting normally exposed skin. I can already tell this look is going to be a major hit at Coachella 2018.

The look is really easy to achieve. All you’ll need is a bottle of super glue and an arrangement of your favorite flowers. I like to stick with things that are seasonal, since they are often more affordable. My sister and I are already getting so excited for fall so we can test the look with mini pumpkins! I have skin that is close to the color (and texture) of day old oatmeal so I can already tell that orange is going to work well for me.

I would love to see a version of this that goes down to the neck, I could see that being such a gorgeous look for the beach or a night out.

you chose a nice neutral color, but i think a vibrant pink would be more my style. then it gives off the great vibe of being sunburned without the actual pain, you know?

I wake up looking like this sometimes but trash instead of flowers. It’s usually because I fell asleep in trash after forgetting where I live
