Super Star Sunnies

It’s time to let your boyfriend shine brighter than the midnight sun with this modern twist on iconic Hollywood fashion!

Primrose and I have teamed up once more to deliver this killer new DIY that mixes the the symbol of the star with classic Hollywood trope: sunglasses. It is so easy AND a totally perfect way to impress your S.O.

All you’ll need are a pair of your boyfriend’s (or lover, as I like to call A) favorite sunglasses, a tub of glue, and star shaped confetti (preferably glossy). Then, with a steady hand, apply the glue liberally and add your confetti in whatever pattern inspires you. Just let your creative side explode all over and your boy toy will be OBSESSED.

Primrose’s new boyfriend, C, tried them on and said he had never felt “so utterly famous” before. He then went on to say a lot of weird things I won’t go into here, but I think that’s just his sense of humor?

I would say these sunglasses are the perfect mix of fun summer and old Hollywood glamor. The stars (besides being iconic) are such a classy accent- I mean can you say Greta Garbo?!?

Here is our intern sporting them- I think she looks way better than normal!

They are perfect for the beach because they block out so much more light than just a simple polarized lens. We only caution that they are definitely NOT SAFE for driving. Primrose tried to wear them while riding her vespa around (looking fabulous, I must say) and she crashed FOUR TIMES. Hahaha so cute.

When A first saw these he pretended to be SO mad that I ‘destroyed’ his expensive sunglasses- I love when he plays around like that 😉

Chuck Smith even showed up to the DIY party and wore them while barbecuing for us! It was such a nice surprise because we never told him where we lived, but I’m glad he found us 🙂

Chuck Smith barbecues as well? I was so impressed by his woodworking ability (that was my favorite post ever, I like still can’t get over how amazing he is). I hope he makes his own marinade because that to me is one of the most important things about barbecuing. Seriously!

Definitely a cool look! I can understand that they’d be hard to drive with. :]

Cute look, I hate going out without sunglasses because I’m am allergic to light so this is actually really good for me. Usually I wear sunglasses and close my eyes to avoid seeing sun- but now I can keep my eyes open while I go places!
